What we believe in and put into practice, together

Have Respect and save the Planet

Changing the way we consume, putting the search for Harmony with the Planet at the Earth of everything: we believe this is the greatest challenge ahead.

In order to do our part, we have created a place where environmentally sustainable and respectful acts of purchases and consumption are made possible. A place that only exists on land, because changing behavior only becomes simple and beautiful when all our senses are involved. From duty to beauty: at Green Pea, Respect for Nature becomes a pleasure for everyone.

Because Respect is the value on which the future of mankind depends.
Respect for the Earth and Nature, Respect for all people, including future generations. And Green Pea is the home of this idea of Respect.

But, why a pea?

It is a product that needs water, like life on Earth

It is green, as the Earth should be.

The points of our manifesto

We have incorrigible hope

that it is possible to save, extend, improve human life on our Planet. It depends on us, each and every human being. We need to change our relationship with the Earth, Air and Water, and improve our relationships with all living beings: human, animal and plant… in short, a new relationship with Nature. We need to set out towards a sense of Respect and Harmony.

With proven conviction we believe

that to quickly achieve this goal, it is necessary to transfer the value of Respect from a sense of duty to a sense of pleasure. People need to make an effort to reduce and sort waste of all kinds and use renewable energy sources – not just to feel better, but also to look better, more pleasant, more respected. In four words: ‘from duty to beauty’.

In a social model

which is called “Consumer Society”, based on work to produce goods (products and services) to be consumed, we think that it is necessary to build a new consumption model: based on products that are made in Respect of Nature, which are consumed over a long period of time and can be easily recycled at the end of their functional cycle. This is why we decided to create one big place to represent the new consumption model we have in mind – and we have called it Green Pea.

After the successful experience

in the world of food with the EATALY model, Green Pea is taking on the other markets: the goods that make up the bulk of our consumer activities: energy, exercise, clothing, home and leisure. We aim to show that it is possible to immediately purchase beautiful, top-quality products and services, made in harmony with Nature and functional to a form of responsible use.

We sell energy,

and equipment to create it, that does not contribute to the global warming and pollution. Italy has an abundance of flowing water, blowing wind and warming sun. These are the sources on which we have been focusing since the beginning, but we remain curious and attentive to any technological innovation that is aimed in the direction of environmental sustainability. Our incorrigible goal is: energy from clean and renewable sources in every home, in every factory, in every office… in every place of human existence.

We sell vehicles for moving around

on one, two, three, four or more wheels. They are beautiful, safe and pleasant to use. They are Italian, but above all they are equipped with engines powered by clean energy sources that do not harm the environment. In the field of automobiles too, Green Pea closely follows technological developments aimed at environmental well-being.

We sell clothes,

shoes, bags and accessories of great quality and beauty, made from materials (new or recycled) created in harmony with Nature. If cotton: organic and GMO free. If materials of animal origin: from traceable and certified farms of Respect. If synthetic materials: created with products thrown away (by others) and recycled (by us). Coloured using techniques that do not harm or cause as little harm as possible to Nature. An essential component of our idea of sustainability is durability and the possibility of reusing or recycling products at the end of their life. We have producers who already meet this profile at 100% and others who have started the process with excellent results, having set themselves the goal, at least for the products sold at Green Pea, of the highest possible level of sustainability. Each producer displays a description of their production regulations.

We sell furniture,

accessories, luminaires and other high-quality, top-designed items for the home. Formaldehyde emissions are reduced to a minimum according to the strictest regulations. Wood from forests managed by balancing felling and replanting, guaranteed by the FSC specification. Metals and glass created with the greatest possible care, plastics that are biodegradable or recyclable at the end of their life. We plant a new tree for every piece of furniture sold. An essential component of our idea of sustainability is durability and the possibility of reusing or recycling products at the end of their life. We have producers who already meet this profile at 100% and others who have started the process with excellent results, having set themselves the goal, at least for the products sold at Green Pea, of the highest possible level of sustainability. Each producer displays a description of their production regulations.

We provide a place for leisure,

the Otium Pea Club. It is an identifiable element of Green Pea: it consists of various large spaces where you can stop to think, talk, taste, care for your body, have fun, read, learn, plan… or just do nothing. Absolute freedom for individuals to decide how to spend their time in the Club. Idleness can be creative and Green Pea intends to demonstrate it without any obligation. Total ease!

We intend to build

an interactive group of producers who share the Respect for Nature value, but at the same time aim to make beautiful, long-lasting and imperishable products that are highly personal and in line with the principles of beauty and the originality of top-level Made in Italy. Proud of their own distinct identity and of the success they have achieved but, nonetheless, anxious to grow and improve, also by exchanging ideas with the other Green Pea producers – this group constitutes an extraordinary force that will be requested by the world and, after a pleasant experience in Turin, offered to the world: the Producers Pea Club.

These companies are almost entirely Italian,

but we are also willing to involve foreign companies if they are original and in line with our principles… and deserve it. For the same reason, we are willing to accept companies that sometimes do not produce 100% in Italy but do so with proven diligence in all respects. Italy is a small country, but with infinite potential to offer the world. Using other lands and people of other nationalities to produce our specialities can be an opportunity if every action is carried out with a deep sense of Respect. All this will be stated in truth and honesty. The concept of a narrated supply chain forms the core of our project.

Finally, narration

All of this needs to be recounted

On the way through the various floors of Green Pea there is a powerful narrative that unfolds like a serial, dedicated to the theme of Respect. We need to engage the mind, heart and soul of our customers, to describe Respect not only as dutiful, but above all as enjoyable, to make them want to tell people about it and, why not…. to brag about it.

Third and fundamental aspect: trust, which outweighs radicalism. With trust (supply and demand) you can go far, while with the presumption of representing absolute perfection you stand still… cursing.

And then, a little green pea on each product, also to remind our customers to talk about us.
