Comfort zone

face and body products

Our Green points

  1. Comfort Zone is a made-in-Italy, complete line of regenerative, effective, and sustainable face and body products, treatments, and rituals. Created in 1996 by Dr. Davide Bollati, pharmacist and chairman of the Davines Group, a Certified B Corporation. Constant innovation, enhanced by 25 years of professional expertise has made Comfort Zone a leader in the international spa and wellness industry.
  2. We are a community of skin experts, committed to skin and planet regeneration. Led by over 40 scientists and R&D professionals, our products are inspired by our Scientific Garden, an open-air lab at the Davines Village, our carbon-neutral headquarters in Parma, Italy. We provide clean, result-driven formulas, that respect both skin and the planet.
  3. As pioneers in the sustainable beauty industry, the supply chain is a crucial element that must be included and carefully considered. We are constantly looking for less impactful and more transparent procurement practices and choose suppliers that are aligned with our values and intent on using business as a positive force.
  4. Our conscious, clean formulas contain up to 99% natural-origin ingredients, preferably obtained from regenerative organic agriculture and renewable sources of which is traceable to encourage biodiversity. All formulas are vegan, free from silicones, mineral oil, sles, and artificial colorants.
  5. Since 2020, we have exclusively used electricity from renewable sources in our production plant and headquarters in Italy, France, the Netherlands, the UK and the US. During 2021, the Hong Kong offices were also added, minimizing emissions, and reducing the production of waste.
  6. We value diversity, which is why we support it, encourage it and are committed to nurturing inclusiveness within our company. Our goal is to ensure the happiness and well-being of our employees worldwide, promoting diversity and inclusion, gender equality, enhancing the quality of life, and promoting professional development.
  7. For us, sustainability has always been a matter of responsibility, since 2016 we have been a Certified B Corp company committed to generating a positive impact on people, the environment, and communities. This year, we have taken this commitment one step further, by establishing a 15-hectare European Organic Regenerative Centre (EROC) next to the Davines Village in Parma, Italy. In partnership with the Rodale Institute – a pioneer in organic agricultural research – this hub will be devoted to regenerative organic farming and produce ingredients for Comfort Zone’s products, as well as being a research centre and educational establishment for use by agriculturalists and the public.
