Our Green points

  1. Lesa, Lake Maggiore. Clearly Italian. Naturally predisposed to love our territory, from Piedmont to production in Sicily widening the view beyond parochialism and boundaries.
  2. When”green” was only a color and not yet a world emergency, in the first post-war period were cycled castor oil from decommissioned military airplanes to waterproof the cotton. Pioneers in experimentation, innovation and circular economy.
  3. We are lakeside.
    Immersed in lake and river water and in the green woods. Nature is a matter of belonging and of daily respect. And we take care of it.
  4. We avoid waste.
    Machinery innovation and renewable energy, the headquarters and the logistics branches are completely self-sufficient. We also renovated and camouflaged them in the woods to combine the aesthetics of the place with the insulation of the environment.
  5. Always transparent.
    Our garments are mapped, traced and communicated in the supply chain, certified with respect to the impact that they have on the environment. In 2016 we were the first in Europe to obtain PEF certificationProduct Environmental Footprint.
  6. Determined to innovate for over 70 years.
    Fast5Degradable – Recycled Wool – Nylon Recycled Onibegie – 100% Regenerated Econyl® Nylon. We gathered all our sustainable projects under a single label, Herno Globe “Take Care of your Future” is about aesthetics and functionality, about products designed efficiently, with natural or waste yarns, which last through the years and that in their entirety they can berecycled, reused in other forms or disappear in 5 years instead of 50.

What we offer in Green Pea

Herno Globe is the new collection label of the Brand, launched for SS 2020, that embraces all the sustainability projects and its birth is the proof of the Brand’s commitment to continue its path towards sustainability started in 2010.

Hence the choice of joining the Green Pea project, where in the new location that is completely dedicated to different sustainability products’ categories, Herno will have a space in the clothing area. Here will be available the 4 projects present in boutiques and department stores all over the world, and 4 projects made exclusively for the new point of sale. Select garments from the collection will have a special embroidery in order to identify and underline the green soul of the wearer: a little green pea.

We invest in the territory, renewable energy, environmental impact certifications, innovating processes and machinery; we create garments designed to last over time, be recycled, reused in other forms or decomposeand disappear quickly.

A hook serves to support. Ours is a strong enough hook and there we put all the attention to respect our Planet.
Your future depends on small things. If you pay attention to turn off the water tap, to turn off the light, to reuse the sheets of paper, to throw away plastic, paper and cans in the right bin, not to pollute parks and beaches, you will start from small things and that will do well on a large scale, even for a penguin far away in the North Pole.

We intend to define new “green” projects and to present the entire collection in materials and manufacturing processes of a minimum level of environmental impact.
