We constantly monitor the manufacturing process by means of certified management systems in the field of the environment and also quality and safety – ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 – to make the system increasingly efficient.
We favour local suppliers to optimise the management of the whole manufacturing process, thereby reducing costs and limiting any associated environmental impact. 82% of our acquisitions come from Italian suppliers.
We are constantly committed throughout the entire life cycle of our products to reducing the amount of virgin raw materials we use, replacing them with recycled material and reusing waste along the lines of the circular economy.
We always focus on the people who form our one big Mapei family, creating a working environment that takes into account their personalneeds and provided the healthiest and safest work conditions possible, thanks to a welfare system allowing, amongst other things, holiday sharing for solidarity purposes, extra health insurance, university leave, and leave for parents who have just had children.
