Our Green points

  1. Our history consists of over a century of innovations, many of which are now the standard in the global automotive industry. We remain true to our promise of excellence alongside a constant commitment to improving performance, safety, connectivity and fuel efficiency, always ensuring we offer a product that customers are proud to own and drive.
  2. Based on our cooperation with major partners, we have in recent years focused on the design and development of a series of electrification technologies, including hybrid vehicles, plug-in hybrids and fully electric batteries, all aimed at reducing consumption, lowering CO2 emissions and creating an ecosystem to promote the development of the mobility of the future.
  3. An ambitious electrification project will make the Mirafiori plant in Turin the largest electrified hub in Europe. Inside, the construction of the Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) plant – the largest pilot project in the world announced to date – will enable electric vehicles to interact with the electricity network, returning or storing energy to support network stability, favoring the production of renewable sources, and thus benefiting consumers.
  4. We pay close attention to responsible management of natural resources, by optimizing energy consumption and managing water and waste in a principled manner. We are working to continue reducing our ecological footprint throughout the production chain.
  5. We are committed to the transition to a circular economy. For many years, we have been promoting the use of recycled and renewable materials in new products: for example, an innovative and sustainable material is used to upholster the seats in our latest electric and electrified cars. Created with plastic collected from the Mediterranean and transformed into a polyester fiber, it can be used as a real fabric: SEAQUAL® YARN.
  6. Diversity and inclusion are both inherent in our DNA.
