Timberland
We’ve always been about the outdoors. With this love of nature comes responsibility to protect and restore nature. That’s why we constantly innovate to reduce the environmental impact. Our product offer is a complete range, focused on apparel and accessories but also with the best selection of the eco-innovative footwears. It offers style, durability, waterproof protection, through recycled, renewable, and responsibly sourced materials and methods of make. We also build upon our heritage of leather craftsmanship, choosing only responsible leathers.
Better Products: through the materials we use and our methods of make, we’re working to not only lessen our environmental impact, but to one day have a net positive impact on nature.
Greener World: at the end of 2019 we reached our goal to plant 10 million trees. Now we’re going for more: 50 million in 5 years.
Stronger Communities: every year, 30 dedicated employees from around the world volunteer above and beyond their day jobs to drive Timberland’s environmental and service agenda.
Making things better for us means insisting that every Timberland polo shirt, t-shirt or pair of shorts you buy will be crafted from only the very best quality organic cotton from certified sources. Every single pair of Timberland shoes, from our Earthkeepers range, include at least one recycled, organic or renewable material and are made from leather that’s come from a silver or gold rated tannery by the Leather Working Group based on energy use, waste production and water treatment.
100% sustainability is hard. Creating a net positive impact on the environment will be even harder. But it’s what we intend todo by 2030 taking inspiration from Nature itself, and its power to regenerate and reinvent. We know we’re part of the problem. But we look at the future believing we can giveback to the Earth more than we take. Our goal: source 100% of our natural materials from regenerative agriculture and design 100% of our products for circularity.
